Rompiendo la Depresión

“Cómo sanar tu corazón y tu mente y vivir en perfecta paz”

Jesús dijo ~ ‘No se turbe vuestro corazón’, hoy veremos cómo vivir libres de depresión. La depresión se ha convertido en el flagelo de nuestra sociedad moderna, donde la gente es diariamente forzada a confrontar depravación y traición moral, desintegración familiar, mientras están siendo bombardeados con un desorden social materialista e inhumano conducido por el mercado libre del capitalismo. Vivimos en un mundo insensible de ‘perro come perro’, y cuando llega la hora de la verdad, pasa factura en la forma de una miríada de trastornos psicológicos y emocionales, derivados de una ansiedad profundamente arraigada y, como Cristo lo llamó, ‘corazón quebrantado’. El hombre fue creado a la imagen¹ de Dios, y dios es amor. El hombre no fue creado para vivir en un mundo de egoísmo, odio, confusión y decepción. La Biblia no está muda en este tema. De hecho, Jesús incluyo la sanidad a los quebrantados de corazón y la libertad a los cautivos como dos de Sus cinco metas capitales de su ministerio. En su primer mensaje en su ciudad natal de Nazaret, Jesús predico un corto mensaje en los inicios de su ministerio, el cual muchos consideraron como la “Declaración de su Misión.”

Sanación del alma y el espíritu

Jesús dijo, “El Espíritu del Señor esta sobre mí, por cuanto me ha ungido para dar buenas nuevas a los pobres, me ha enviado a sanar a los quebrantados de corazón a proclamar libertad a los cautivos y recuperar la vista a los ciegos, a liberar a aquellos que están oprimidos” (Lucas 4.18). La palabra “opresión” aquí debe ser entendida como un sinónimo del término moderno “depresión”. De hecho, actualmente sería correcto decir que una persona deprimida está siendo “oprimida.” La ciencia moderna no puede tocar el problema real con terapias (drogas) psicológicas o psiquiátricas porque el problema está enraizado en la condición interna del espíritu y el alma humana. Curar la depresión pudiera ser certeramente llamado “Curar la depresión podría llamarse con precisión ‘la curación del alma y el espíritu del hombre’, que solo puede lograrse mediante la integración adecuada de las verdades eternas del Príncipe de Paz, Jesucristo.. “La congoja en el corazón del hombre lo abate, más la buena palabra lo alegra” (Proverbios 12.25).

La libertad de la verdad

Si la verdad os hará libres, una verdad parcial os dejará esclavizados y desilusionados. Jesús dijo que vino a ~ “…sanar a los quebrantados, proclamar libertad a los cautivos y recuperar la vista a los ciegos, para liberar a aquellos que están oprimidos [ deprimidos] (Lucas 4.18) Hay un protocolo muy simple, el cual cuando es entendido y practicado correctamente, cualquier persona puede vivir libre del tormento de la depresión. La ciencia secular fue al menos parcialmente correcta al identificar que la raíz del problema está en la mente. Suficiente psicoterapia y/o meditación eventualmente proporcionará algún grado de alivio; sin embargo, la libertad y la paz nunca se harán realidad a diario hasta que se comprenda y se desarrolle una comprensión precisa de la composición humana. Jesús describió el estado humano del ser como una interacción continua entre cuatro partes integrales: espíritu, alma, mente y cuerpo. ~ “Y amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma, y con toda tu mente y con todas tus fuerzas” (Marcos 12.30).

Transformación

Las grandes farmacéuticas quebrarían, la depresión terminaría y toda enfermedad mental se convertiría en cosa del pasado en el momento en que uno aplique la primera y única ley que Dios le dio al hombre mientras estaba en el paraíso, el Edén. El único requisito necesario para que el hombre regrese al paraíso es el mismo hoy que en el principio. Lo único que Dios ordenó no hacer fue comer del ‘Árbol del conocimiento’ ~ “Mas del árbol de la ciencia del bien y del mal no comerás; porque el día que de él comieres, ciertamente morirás” (Gen. 2.17). Todo el dolor, la ansiedad, la enfermedad y el sufrimiento son hasta el día de hoy el producto de participar de la mente, el árbol del conocimiento. Incluso la ciencia moderna, la meditación y la espiritualidad prueban que esto es cierto. En el momento en que uno se da cuenta de que es espíritu y comienza a cerrar la mente; la fuente de confusión, tormento y dolor; aunque no sea un cristiano nacido de nuevo, encontrará algún grado de paz y bienestar.

La guarida de la serpiente

Dios le dijo a Adán que no necesitaba conocimiento mental. Mientras Adán vivió y caminó por el intelecto superior de su espíritu, tuvo comunión con Dios, abundancia y vida eterna a su disposición. Desde el principio, la morada de la serpiente fue la mente (árbol de ciencia), y al hombre se le ordenó vivir y operar en la insuperable inteligencia del espíritu. Se nos dice que caminemos y vivamos³ en el espíritu, y la única razón por la que un cristiano no hace esto automáticamente es porque el silbido constante e histérico de la serpiente en su mente lo ha hipnotizado y lo está volviendo absolutamente y literalmente loco. El Apóstol Pablo lo expresa de esta manera ~ “Porque el ocuparse de la carne [es] muerte, pero el ocuparse del espíritu es vida y paz” (Rom 8.6). No es tanto el grado en que has estado abusando de tu mente como el grado en que tu mente te ha estado abusando. Según Paul, literalmente te está matando, la muerte por mil latigazos, también conocida como depresión.

Se necesita un poco de práctica al principio, pero el hecho es que no eres tu mente. Primero, a través de la oración, la meditación silenciosa y la palabra de Dios; Comenzamos a distinguir entre la mente del espíritu y la mente de la serpiente, el mentiroso. Entonces, comienza a llevar todo pensamiento⁴ cautivo a Jesucristo, la palabra de Dios,⁵ y la depresión se romperá en tu vida para siempre.

Breaking Depression

“How to heal your heart and mind and live in perfect peace”

Jesus said, ~ ‘Let Not your Heart be Troubled,’ today we will see how to live free from depression. Depression has become the scourge of modern society, where people are daily forced to confront moral depravity, betrayal, and the disintegration of the family, while being bombarded with a heartless inhumane social dystopia driven by free market capitalism. We live in a cold-hearted ‘dog eat dog’ world, and when push comes to shove it takes its toll in the form a myriad of psychological and emotional disorders, stemming from deep-seated anxiety, and as Christ called it ‘broken heartedness.’ Man was created in the image¹ of God, and God is love. Man was not created to live in a world of selfishness, hatred, confusion and deception. The Bible is not silent on this subject. In fact, Jesus included healing the broken hearted and setting the oppressed (depressed) free as two of His five paramount ministry goals. In His first message in His hometown of Nazareth, Jesus preached a short message early in His ministry, which many consider His ‘Declaration of Mission.’

Healing Soul & Spirit

Jesus said, ~ “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed” (Luke 4.18). The word ‘oppression’ here must be understood as synonymous with the modern term ‘depression.’ In fact, it would still be correct today to say a depressed person is feeling ‘oppressed.’ Modern science cannot touch the real problem through psychology or psychiatric therapies (drugs) because the issue is rooted in the inner condition of the human spirit and soul, not the mind. Curing depression could accurately be called ‘the healing of the soul and spirit of man,’ which can only be accomplished via the proper integration of the timeless truths of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. ~ “Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad” (Proverbs 12.25).

The Liberty of Truth

If the truth will set you free, a partial truth will leave you enslaved and disillusioned. Jesus said He came to ~ “…to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed [depressed]” (Luke 4.18). There is a very simple protocol, which when correctly understood and practiced, any person can live free from the torment of depression. Secular science was at least partially correct in identifying the root of the problem laying in the mind. Enough psycho-therapy and/or meditation will eventually provide some degree of relief; however, freedom and peace will never become real on a daily basis until an accurate understanding of the human make-up is comprehended and built upon. Jesus described the Human state of being as an on-going interaction between four integral parts: spirit, soul, mind and body. ~ “And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength” (Mark 12.30).

Transformation

Big-pharma would go broke, depression would end, and all mental illness would become a thing of the past the moment one applies the first and only law God gave to man while he was in paradise, Eden. The only requirement necessary for man to return to paradise is the same today as it was in the beginning. The only thing God commanded not to do was to eat of the ‘Tree of knowledge.’ ~ “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” (Gen. 2.17). All pain, anxiety, sickness and suffering are to this day the product of partaking of the mind, the tree of knowledge. Even modern science, meditation and spirituality prove this to be true. The moment one realizes that he is a spirit and begins to shut down the mind, the source of confusion, torment and pain; even if he is not a born again Christian, he will encounter some degree of peace and well-being.

The Serpent’s Den

God told Adam he didn’t need mental knowledge. As long as Adam lived and walked in for superior intellect of his spirit, he had communion with God, abundance and eternal life at his disposal. From the beginning, the serpent’s habitation was in the mind (tree of knowledge), and man was commanded to live and operate in the far-surpassing intelligence of the spirit. We are told to walk and live³ in the spirit, and the only reason a Christian doesn’t automatically do this is because the constant and hysterical hissing of serpent in his mind has hypnotized him and is absolutely and literally driving him crazy. The Apostle Paul puts it this way ~ “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace” (Rom 8.6). It is not so much the degree to which you’ve been abusing your mind as it is the degree to which your mind has been abusing you. According to Paul, it is literally killing you, death by a thousand lashes, also known as depression.

It takes a bit of practice at first, but the fact is you are not your mind. First, through prayer, silent meditation, and the word of God; begin to distinguish between the mind of the spirit and the mind of the serpent, the liar. Then, commence bringing every thought⁴ into captivity to Jesus Christ, the word of God,⁵and depression will be broken in your life forever.

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You [God], Because he trusts in You.

Descubriendo la naturaleza divina

“La clave del cristianismo auténtico”

El verdadero cristianismo no se trata de intentar hacer cosas que agradan a Dios. No se trata de ‘hacer’ y ‘no hacer.’ Va mucho más allá de eso. En realidad, tratar de ser un ‘bienhechor’ es ignorar a Jesús, la Cruz, y todo el Nuevo Testamento. Verdaderos cristianos, en lugar de hacer el bien; mueren, renacen, y luego maduran y se convierten en participantes de la ‘naturaleza divina,’⁵ que va mucho más allá de un simple bienhechor. Estos individuos elegidos han sido regenerados, transformados y fortalecidos con la naturaleza divina de Dios por el Espíritu Santo, y definitivamente reconocerá la diferencia si alguna vez encuentra uno. Entonces, ¿qué es esta transformación y cómo se lleva a cabo? ~ “Vestíos del nuevo hombre, creado según Dios en la justicia y santidad de la verdad” (Efesios 4.24).

La naturaleza de dios

Dios nos ha dado promesas porque Él ama a Sus hijos y desea bendecirlos de la misma manera que usted desearía bendecir a sus hijos. Dios no puede obligarnos a recibir las cosas que quiere darnos, por eso nos las ha dado en forma de promesas, esperando que las recibamos. Las promesas de Dios también se dan para revelarnos la naturaleza de Dios. Por Sus promesas vemos que Dios es un ‘Dios bueno.’ Sus promesas nos revelan el corazón de Dios, que se preocupa profundamente por Sus hijos y quiere bendecirlos con salud, amor, sabiduría y la abundancia de todas las cosas buenas. Pero Dios tiene otro motivo importante para darnos sus promesas: quiere simplificar las cosas para usted y al mismo tiempo salvar su alma del infierno. Ya ves, en el Nuevo Testamento, Dios ha elegido justificar (salvar y perdonar) a aquellos que aprenden a vivir¹ por la fe.

Cosas más simples

¡La fe es el único requisito de Dios en el Nuevo Testamento, y Él promete bendecir a los que viven por fe con la abundancia2 de todas las cosas ahora! Este es el cambio más significativo entre el Nuevo Testamento y el Antiguo Testamento. El apóstol Pablo escribe: ~ “Porque en el evangelio [Nuevo Testamento] la justicia de Dios se revela por fe y para fe, como está escrito: Mas el justo por la fe vivirá” (Romanos 1.17). Dios ha simplificado las cosas en el Nuevo Testamento y las ha mejorado, porque por la fe podemos hacer lo que era imposible para las personas del Antiguo Testamento, que estaban limitadas a la capacidad meramente humana. En el Nuevo Testamento, el creyente es “renacido por el Espíritu de Dios”, lo que le permite tener mayor fe que los santos del Antiguo Testamento porque la fe en un producto del Espíritu Santo. ~ “Pero teniendo el mismo espíritu de fe, conforme a lo que está escrito: Creí, por lo cual hablé, nosotros también creemos, por lo cual también hablamos” (2Conrintios 4.13).

Cómo crece la fe

La fe nos da acceso a las promesas de Dios y también al poder* de Dios, para que podamos vencer el pecado y la tentación y cualquier otra estrategia del diablo. Por la fe puedes recibir las promesas de Dios, y la misma fe te transformará en un participante de la justicia de Dios, de la naturaleza de la justicia de Dios. — “La justicia de Dios por medio de la fe en Jesucristo, para todos los que creen en él. Porque no hay diferencia” (Romanos 3.22). Hay más de 2,000 promesas en la Biblia, y todas son accesibles simplemente cumpliendo una condición, y esa condición es que usted reciba la promesa por fe. La fe es un producto de la palabra de Dios. A medida que uno pasa el tiempo diariamente en la palabra de Dios, la fe comienza a crecer en el corazón. El apóstol Pablo escribió ~ “Así que la fe es por el oír, y el oír, por la palabra de Dios” (Romanos 10.17).

Fe y acciones correspondientes

La fe llega al escuchar la palabra de Dios y se fortalece al poner en práctica la palabra de Dios en la vida de uno. Echemos un vistazo a lo que dice la Biblia sobre la fe en el libro de Santiago. ~ “¿Mas quieres saber, hombre vano, que la fe sin obras es muerta? ¿No fue justificado por las obras Abraham nuestro padre, cuando ofreció a su hijo Isaac sobre el altar? ¿No ves que la fe actuó juntamente con sus obras, y que la fe se perfeccionó por las obras? Y se cumplió la Escritura que dice: Abraham creyó a Dios, y le fue contado por justicia, y fue llamado amigo de Dios” (Santiago 2.20-23). Las dos cosas que se han mencionado hoy son evidentes en los versículos anteriores. La fe crece al mezclar acciones con lo que uno cree en la palabra de Dios, y Dios atribuye “justicia” a quienes practican vivir por fe en las promesas de Dios.

Por qué las promesas son esenciales

En otras palabras, dos cosas están sucediendo simultáneamente a través de las promesas de Dios registradas en el Nuevo Testamento. Mientras recibimos las grandes y preciosas promesas caminando por fe, Dios está ocupado infundiéndonos la ‘naturaleza divina,’ transformándonos literalmente desde el fundamento de nuestra naturaleza (espíritu) en los participantes con Él de “la naturaleza⁴ divina.” Es hora de dejar de ‘intentar’ y empezar a ‘ser.’ Es hora de convertirse en partícipes de la naturaleza divina a través de la fe en las promesas de Dios. Es hora de dejar de jugar al cristianismo y dejarse llevar por Dios. Es hora de ser realistas, de convertirse en partícipes de la naturaleza divina.

Por medio de [Jesús] las cuales nos ha dado preciosas y grandísimas promesas, para que por ellas llegaseis a ser participantes de la naturaleza divina, habiendo huido de la corrupción que hay en el mundo a causa de la concupiscencia.

Discovering the Divine Nature

“The key to authentic Christianity”

Real Christianity is not about trying to do things that are pleasing to God. It is not about ‘does’ and ‘don’ts.’ It’s far beyond that. Actually, trying to be a ‘do-gooder’ is ignoring Jesus, the Cross, and the entire New Testament. Real Christians, instead of doing good; die, are reborn, and then mature into partakers of the ‘divine nature,’ which puts them far beyond a simple do-gooder. These chosen individuals have been regenerated, transformed, and empowered with the divine nature of God by the Holy Spirit, and you will definitely recognize the difference if you ever encounter one. So, what is this transformation and how does it take place? ~ “That you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4.24).

The Nature of God

God has given us promises because He loves His children and desires to bless them the same way you would desire to bless your children. God can’t force us to receive the things He wants to give to us, so He has given them to us in the form of promises, hoping we will receive them. The promises of God are also given to reveal the nature of God to us. By His promises we see that God is a ‘Good God.’ His promises reveal to us the heart of God, that He cares deeply about His children and wants to bless them with health, love, wisdom and the abundance of all good things. But, God has another important motive in giving us His promises — He wants to simplify things for you and at the same time save your soul from hell. You see, in the New Testament, God has chosen to justify (to save and forgive) those who learn to live¹ by faith.

Simpler Things

Faith is the sole requirement of God in the New Testament, and He promises to bless those who live by faith with the abundance² of all things now! This is the most significant change between the New Testament and the Old Testament. The Apostle Paul writes, ~ “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith” (Romans 1.17). God has simplified things in the New Testament and made them better, because by faith we are able to do what was impossible for Old Testament people to do, who were limited to merely human ability. In the New Testament, the believer is ‘reborn by the Spirit of God,’ which enables him to have greater faith than Old Testament saints because faith in a product of the Holy Spirit. ~ “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak” (“Corinthians 4.13).

How Faith Grows

Faith gives us access to the promises of God and also to the power of God, so we can overcome sin and temptation and every other strategy of the devil. By faith you can receive the promises of God, and the same faith will transform you into becoming a partaker of the righteous of God, of God’s righteous nature. “Even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference” (Romans 3.22). There are over 2,000 promises in the Bible, and all of them are accessible simply by meeting one condition, and that condition is that you receive the promise by faith. Faith is a product of the word of God. As one passes time daily in the word of God, faith begins to grow in the heart. The Apostle Paul wrote ~ “So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10.17).

Faith & Corresponding Actions

Faith comes by hearing the word of God and grows strong by putting the word of God into practice in one’s life. Let’s have a look at what the Bible says about faith in the book of James. ~ “But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God” (James 2.20-23). The two things that have been mentioned today are evident in the above verses. Faith grows by mixing actions with what one believes out of the word of God, and God imputes ‘righteousness’ to those who practice living by faith in the promises of God.

Why Promises are Essential

In other words, two things are happening simultaneously through the promises of God recorded in the New Testament. While we receive the great and precious promises walking by faith, God is busy infusing into us the ‘divine nature,’ transforming us literally from the foundation of our nature (spirit) into the participants with Him of “the divine⁴ nature.” It’s time to stop ‘trying’ and start ‘being.’ It’s time to become a partaker of the divine nature through faith in the promises of God. It’s time to stop playing Christian and let God. It’s time to get real, to become a real Christian.

By [Jesus] which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption [that is] in the world through lust.

“Cómo encontrar a Dios”

El secreto de la vida cristiana es seguir a Jesús al monte de Dios y pasar tiempo con Él en profunda comunión en la presencia del Padre. Esta fue la clave de todo en la vida de Jesús, como también lo es de todo en la tuya. Todas las necesidades, deseos, habilidades divinas, sabiduría y conocimiento nacen de este lugar de perfecta quietud y silencio divino. ~ “Despedida [Jesús] la multitud, subió al monte a orar aparte; y cuando llegó la noche, estaba allí solo” Mateo 14.23). En toda la Biblia, Dios se encuentra en las montañas. El rostro de Moisés1 se transformó en una luz inaccesible y recibió los Diez Mandamientos después de 40 días en la montaña a solas con Dios. Dios personalmente reveló el peso de Su gloria a Elías2 el profeta mientras estaba solo con Dios en el Monte Horeb, la Montaña de Dios. El Templo de Dios está ubicado estratégicamente en el Monte Moriah, y Jesús predicó Su mensaje más importante, el Sermón del Monte, sentado sobre una roca en una montaña, por nombrar algunos ejemplos. ~ “Venid, y subamos al monte de Jehová, a la casa del Dios de Jacob” (Isaías 2.3).

Dos imágenes primarias

Dios el Padre vive en una montaña, y si quieres llegar a conocerlo, no hay nada como tocar la puerta de Su casa en la montaña, como Jesús solía hacer, y pasar tiempo con Él. Todas estas imágenes nos dicen mucho sobre acceder a la presencia de Dios y liberarlo para que opere libremente en nuestra vida y a través de ella. Primero, Dios es la “Roca”. ~ “Porque ¿quién es Dios, sino sólo Jehová? ¿Y qué roca hay fuera de nuestro Dios?” (2Samuel 22.32). La Biblia nos comunica las realidades espirituales a través de imágenes, simbolismo, metáforas y símiles. Todo este simbolismo es rico en revelación espiritual. Por supuesto, Dios es un espíritu, no una roca, pero Dios es ciertamente una Roca en el sentido de Su personalidad y Su presencia. A diferencia de Jesús (cordero) y el Espíritu Santo (paloma), el Padre, el Primer miembro de la divinidad, se ha confinado a solo dos imágenes principales mediante las cuales se revela a nosotros: 1) el Padre y 2) La Roca. ~ “Él es la Roca, cuya obra es perfecta, Porque todos sus caminos son rectitud; Dios de verdad, y sin ninguna iniquidad en él; Es justo y recto” (Deuteronomio 32.4).

Encuentra a Dios y la respuesta

¿Qué sucede cuando te encuentras a la sombra de una gran y asombrosa montaña? Lo que sucede es silencio, asombro, quietud y paz … la presencia3 de Dios. Muchos de los hijos de Dios están tan distraídos y atormentados por el enemigo a través del conocimiento4 del mal (la mente), que ni siquiera se dan cuenta cuando han estado en presencia de Dios, cuando el Espíritu los lleva al silencio y la quietud del Padre, Dios la Roca. ~ “Si es que habéis gustado la benignidad del Señor. Acercándoos a él, piedra viva” (1Pedro 2.3,4). El principio básico de la oración es la comunicación con Dios, y seamos realistas realmente no puedes llegar a conocer a alguien hasta que te sientes con él. La mayor parte de lo que se escribe y se enseña sobre la oración se basa en fórmulas y pautas. Combine esto con el hecho de que la mayoría de las personas nunca oran hasta que tienen una gran necesidad de algo, y tenemos la causa fundamental de la esterilidad y la debilidad espiritual de los creyentes de hoy, reduciéndolos a víctimas en lugar de generales de cinco estrellas en el campo de la batalla espiritual. Encontrará a Dios y la respuesta a todas sus necesidades y deseos cuando haga lo que Jesús hizo, cuando 1) despida a la multitud y 2) suba a la montaña y 3) pase la noche solo en presencia del Padre, la Roca.

Concepciones falsas

La mayoría de los hijos de Dios tienen conceptos erróneos acerca de Dios y no reconocen Su presencia. Están tan distraídos y acosados por Satanás a través de su acceso a su mente que casi han conocido la conciencia de su propio espíritu, mucho menos la presencia de Dios, que es un Espíritu y solo se puede acceder a través del espíritu humano renacido. Cuando oran, se sienten rápidamente decepcionados y frustrados porque esperan una voz atronadora del cielo, o la conmoción y el asombro de la aparición de un ángel de 2000 pies de altura. Dios es “La Roca.” Siempre está ahí. Somos ‘nosotros’ los que estamos ausentes debido a las distracciones mentales constantes (por parte del enemigo). Él está presente, pero estamos “inconsciente” de Él. Él es el Padre Eterno, La Roca, lleno de paz, fuerza eterna y la serenidad eterna de la sabiduría y el entendimiento infinitos, todo empacado en la presencia del amor perfecto. ¡Cómo esperas que sea la presencia de Dios! Él no quiere nada de ti excepto tu amor y tu presencia con Él. No le digas nada (a menos que sea absolutamente necesario) … Él ya conoce tus pensamientos y responderá a todos ellos.

Todo lo que es necesario

Solo estar con el es todo lo que se necesita. Mientras te bañas en Su presencia, todas las preguntas que tengas serán respondidas, cada necesidad será satisfecha, y Él hará mucho más de lo que puedes pedir o incluso pensar6 mientras pasas la noche a solas con el Padre en la montaña de la comunión íntima con Él. Serás transformado, como lo fue Moisés simplemente sentándote en Su presencia mientras te habla. ~ “No sabía Moisés que la piel de su rostro resplandecía, después que hubo hablado con Dios” (Éxodo 34.29). Ya estás haciendo la mayor actividad espiritual posible; te has unido a Dios por fe en esta perfecta quietud del Espíritu, y en tu unión espiritual con Él a través de una entrega completa, Él está libre para operar en ti y a través de ti libremente para lograr más de lo que puedes pedir o pensar. Es mejor no preguntar nada en particular porque Él ya conoce todas tus necesidades y conoce una solución a tus problemas mucho mejor que tú. ~ “Pues qué hemos de pedir como conviene, no lo sabemos, pero el Espíritu mismo intercede por nosotros. Y a Aquel que es poderoso para hacer todas las cosas mucho más abundantemente de lo que pedimos o entendemos, según el poder que actúa en nosotros” (Romanos 8.26, Efesios 3.20).

A traves del espiritu

En la montaña, hay dos cosas que debes tener en cuenta. El mundo en el que vive está completamente impulsado por el conocimiento. Debes ser consciente de esto y no conformarte5 porque el hombre no puede conocer/comunicarse con Dios a través de la mente, solo a través del corazón. El mundo que te rodea no tiene más remedio que vivir del conocimiento porque están espiritualmente muertos, pero no tienes excusa para conformarte con el mundo en lugar de caminar en el espíritu. Adán y todos los demás que no han renacido del Espíritu de Dios no tienen otra opción que vivir solo por el razonamiento intelectual porque participaron del Árbol del Conocimiento que les produjo la muerte espiritual, pero tú has nacido7 del Espíritu de Dios en comunión con Él, a través de su espíritu, no con su mente. ~ “Dios es Espíritu; y los que le adoran, en espíritu y en verdad es necesario que adoren” (Juan 4.24).

Deja tu mente atrás

Finalmente, no es sólo que todos los hombres estén espiritualmente muertos e incapaces de comunicarse con el Padre porque están aprisionados en su mente, el diablo obtuvo acceso a la raza humana a través del ‘conocimiento’ y persistentemente usa su acceso8 a su mente para mover te lejos de la conciencia de la presencia de Dios mediante constantes distracciones, confusión, preguntas y un razonamiento sin fin e inútil que no lleva a ninguna parte. Debes, como Jesús, despedir a la multitud (gente, guardar tu teléfono celular) y escalar la montaña de Dios solo, lo que significa poner tu mente a un lado, recordar que eres un hijo de Dios guiado por el espíritu y sintonízate con la presencia del Padre a través de tu espíritu, no de tu mente, y tú también te convertirás, con la práctica, en un montañés, un hombre/mujer de la Roca.

God the Rock

“How to Find God”

The secret to the Christian life is following Jesus up the mountain of God and spending time with Him in deep communion in the presence of the Father. This was the key to everything in Jesus’ life as it is also to everything in yours. All needs, desires, divine abilities, wisdom and knowledge are born out of this place of perfect stillness and divine silence. ~ “And when He [Jesus] had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there” (Matthew 14.23). Throughout the Bible God is found on mountains. Moses’1 face was transformed into unapproachable light and he received the 10 Commandments after 40 days on the mountain alone with God. God personally revealed the weight of His glory to Elijah2 the prophet while he was alone with God on Mount Horeb, the Mountain of God. The Temple of God is strategically located on Mount Moriah, and Jesus preached His most important message, the Sermon on the Mount, seated on a rock on a mountain, to name a few examples. ~ “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob.” (Isaiah 2.3).

Two Primary Images

God the Father lives on a mountain, and if you want to get to know Him there is nothing like knocking on the door of His mountain home, like Jesus was in the habit of doing, and spending time with Him. All of this imagery speaks volumes to us about accessing the presence of God and releasing Him to operate freely in and through our life. First, God is the ‘Rock.’ ~ “For who [is] God, except the LORD? And who [is] a rock, except our God?” (2Samuel 22.32). The Bible communicates spiritual realities to us via imagery, symbolism, metaphors, and similes. All of this symbolism is rich with spiritual revelation. Of course, God is a spirit, not a rock, but God is indeed a Rock in the sense of His personality and His presence. Unlike, Jesus (lamb) and Holy Spirit (dove), the Father, the First member of the divine godhead, has confined Himself to only two primary images by which He reveals Himself to us — 1) the Father and 2) The Rock. ~ “[He is] the Rock, His work [is] perfect; For all His ways [are] justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright [is] He” (Deuteronomy 32.4).

Find God and the Answer

What happens when you come into the shadow of a great and awesome mountain? What happens is — silence, awe, stillness and peace… the presence3 of God. Many of God’s children are so distracted and tormented by the enemy through the knowledge4 of evil (the mind), they don’t even realize when they have been in the presence of God, when the Spirit draws them into the sublime silence and stillness of the Father’s presence, God the Rock. ~ “If indeed you have tasted that the Lord [is] gracious. Coming to Him [as to] a living stone” (1Peter 2.3,4). The basic tenant of prayer is communication with God, and let’s face it you can’t really get to know someone until you sit down with them. Most of what is written and taught on prayer is built on formulas and guidelines. Couple this with the fact that most people never pray until they are in dire need of something, and we have the root cause of the sterility and spiritual weakness of believers today reducing them to victims instead of five-star generals on the field of spiritual battle. You will find God and the answer to all of your needs and desires when you do what Jesus did, when you 1) send the multitude away, and 2) go up on the mountain, and 3) spend the night alone in the presence of the Father, the Rock.

False Conceptions

Most of God’s children have misconceptions about God and fail to recognize His presence. They are so distracted and harassed by Satan through his access into their mind that they have almost no awareness of their own spirit, much less the presence of God, who is a Spirit and can only be accessed via the reborn human spirit. When they pray, they are quickly disappointed and frustrated because they are expecting a thundering voice from heaven, or the shock and awe of the appearance of a 2000 ft. tall angel. God is ‘The Rock.’ He is always there. It’s ‘us’ who are absent through constant mental diversions (by the enemy). He is present, but we are ‘unconscious’ of Him. He is the Eternal Father, The Rock, full of peace, eternal strength, and the everlasting serenity of infinite wisdom and understanding, all packed into the presence of perfect love. What do you expect the presence of God to be like! He doesn’t want anything from you except your love and your presence with Him. Don’t say anything to Him (unless you absolutely have to)… He already knows your thoughts and will respond to them all.

All that is Necessary

Just being with Him is all that is necessary. As you bathe in His presence every question you have will be answered, every need will be met, and He will do much more than you can ask or even think6 as you spend the night alone with the Father on the mountain of intimate communion with Him. You will be transformed, like Moses was by just sitting in His presence as He speaks to you. ~ “Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him [God]” (Exodus 34.29). You are already doing the greatest spiritual activity possible; you have united yourself with God in faith in this perfect stillness of the Spirit, and in your spiritual union with Him through complete surrender, He is released to operate in and through you freely to accomplish more than you can ask or think. It is better to not ask anything in particular because He already knows all of your needs and knows a much better solution to your problems than you do. ~ “For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Romans 8.26, Ephesians 3.20).

Through the Spirit

On the mountain, there are two things you must keep in mind. The world you live in is completely knowledge driven. You must be aware of this and not conform5 to it because man cannot know/communicate with God through the mind, only through the heart. The world around you has no choice but to live by knowledge because they are spiritually dead, but you have no excuse for letting yourself conform to the world instead of walking in the spirit. Adam and everyone else who is not reborn of the Spirit of God has no other option then to live by intellectual reasoning alone because they partook of the Tree of Knowledge which produced spiritual death in them, but you have been born7 of the Spirit of God into communion with Him, through your spirit, not your mind. ~ “God [is] Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (john 4.24).

Leave Your Mind Behind

Finally, it is not only that all men are spiritually dead and unable to commune with the Father because they are imprisoned in their mind, the devil gained access into the human race through ‘knowledge’ and persistently uses his access8 into the mind to draw you away from the consciousness of the presence of God by constant distractions, confusion, questions, and endless, pointless reasoning that leads nowhere. You must, like Jesus, send the multitude away (people—stash your cell phone) and climb the mountain of God, which means set your mind to one side, remember you are a spirit-led child of God, and tune into the presence of the Father through your spirit, not your mind, and you too will become, with practice, a mountain man, a man/woman of the Rock.

Reinar en la vida

“Tomando vuestro lugar en el trono a la diestra de Dios”

Todo el mundo ha oído hablar de la bondad y la abundancia de Dios, pero pocos la experimentan en el trajín de la vida cotidiana. Son conscientes de algunas de las muchas promesas de la Biblia que hablan de la vida vencedora y la mayoría cree que Dios tiene el poder para hacerlo, pero de alguna manera la realidad parece evadirlos a medida que enfrentan diariamente una miríada aparentemente interminable de problemas y circunstancias que envuelve sus vidas en una nube gris.

Reinando en vida

Dios nunca tuvo la intención de que el hombre viviera sus días como víctima de las circunstancias. Con este fin, envió a Jesús para sacar a la humanidad de la debilidad, capacitándola para reinar en vida. ~ “Reinarán en vida por uno solo, Jesucristo, los que reciben la abundancia de la gracia” (Rom. 5:17).

Tesoro perdido

La mayoría de los cristianos saben en el fondo que esto es cierto y posible. Simplemente carecen de instrucción sobre lo que dice la Biblia acerca de cómo hacerlo porque la Iglesia moderna se ha distanciado enormemente de la Biblia y de las palabras de Cristo sobre este tema. Aunque esta ley espiritual simple, pero arrasadora, se enseña a lo largo de las Escrituras, nadie abordó más claramente este tema que Jesucristo mismo.

Cómo funciona

Jesús descorrió las cortinas e hizo brillar la luz sobre la llave cuando dijo que una vida buena o una vida mala está totalmente bajo el control del hombre y es producto de lo que él determina permitir que ocupe su corazón. ~ “El hombre bueno, del buen tesoro del corazón saca buenas cosas; y el hombre malo, del mal tesoro saca malas cosas.” (Mat. 12.35). Ya sea una cuestión de sanidad, finanzas o cualquier otra necesidad; lo que sea que decidas dejar que ocupe tu espíritu, ese será tu futuro.

Más que una Actitud Mental Positiva

El pensamiento positivo, o simplemente imaginar que las cosas están mejor, puede aliviar su depresión, pero no lo liberará de las garras de Satanás ni impedirá que la maldición¹ de la ley opere en su vida. Solo el poder que resucitó a Cristo de entre los muertos puede hacer eso. ~ “Alumbrando los ojos de vuestro entendimiento, para que sepáis cuál es la…la supereminente grandeza de su poder para con nosotros los que creemos, según la operación del poder de su fuerza, la cual operó en Cristo, resucitándole de los muertos y sentándole a su diestra en los lugares celestiales” (Efes. 1.18-20).

En Cristo

Es la falta de comprensión de que Dios ha tratado contigo a través de Jesucristo donde la mayoría de la gente se pierde. Cristo es la llave de poder. Es nada menos que la fe en Cristo lo que derriba la puerta de la celda donde el diablo te ha tenido cautivo y te levanta sentado en el trono a la diestra de Dios. ~ “Aun estando nosotros muertos en pecados, nos dio vida juntamente con Cristo (por gracia sois salvos), y juntamente con él nos resucitó, y asimismo nos hizo sentar en los lugares celestiales con Cristo Jesús” (Efesios 2.5-6).

Más allá de la tumba

La mayoría entiende cómo Dios trató con su pecado a través de Cristo al poner su pecado sobre Él. Saben que Cristo actuó como su sustituto, y es lo suficientemente poderoso para quitar sus pecados; sin embargo, nunca han sido instruidos más allá de ese punto. La misión de Cristo a favor de vosotros no terminó en el sepulcro, donde² dejó vuestros pecados, habiendo pagado el precio por ellos. Dios continuó tratando contigo a través de Cristo con Su ~ “Poder para con nosotros los que creemos, según la operación del poder de su fuerza, la cual operó en Cristo, resucitándole de los muertos y sentándole a su diestra en los lugares celestiales, sobre todo principado y autoridad y poder y señorío, y sobre todo nombre que se nombra, no sólo en este siglo, sino también en el venidero; y sometió todas las cosas bajo sus pies” (Efes. 1.19-22).

Resucitado con Cristo

Cuando Dios resucitó a Cristo de entre los muertos, te hizo un maestro en vida más que capaz de dominar toda circunstancia y todo el poder del enemigo. El problema es que nunca, o rara vez, has escuchado esto. Jesús dijo que la fe que mueve montañas, que simbolizan los enormes y pesados problemas de tu vida, obra como una semilla. ~ “Jesús les dijo: Por vuestra poca fe; porque de cierto os digo, que si tuviereis fe como un grano de mostaza, diréis a este monte: Pásate de aquí allá, y se pasará; y nada os será imposible” (Mat. 17.20). La semilla de la fe se planta en el corazón al oír y contemplar la palabra de Dios. ~ “La fe es por el oír, y el oír por la palabra de Dios” (Rom. 10.17).

Hacerse cargo de su destino

Hoy tienes lo que ayer permitiste que el enemigo sembrara en tu corazón. Cuanto más persistas en contemplar el problema, mayor será la cosecha de ese problema. En el momento en que empieces a tomar el control de lo que acapara tu espíritu, el enemigo huirá y las nubes grises desaparecerán. El problema es que la mayoría de la gente está dormida al volante. Simplemente dejan la puerta abierta y permiten que el enemigo sature la tierra fértil de su espíritu con las semillas de la destrucción, fracaso y tormento.

Mientras los hombres dormían

Jesús dijo ~ “Pero mientras dormían los hombres, vino su enemigo y sembró cizaña entre el trigo, y se fue” (Mat. 13.25). En lugar de avanzar hacia la solución, piensan en el problema día y noche desde todos los ángulos posibles, solo aumentando el temor, la depresión y la debilidad espiritual. Todo rey sabe que su capacidad para reinar se basa únicamente en su dominio del arte de la guerra. ~ “Porque las armas de nuestra milicia no son carnales, sino poderosas en Dios para la destrucción de fortalezas, derribando argumentos y toda altivez que se levanta contra el conocimiento de Dios, y llevando cautivo todo pensamiento a la obediencia a Cristo” (2Cor. 10.4-5).

Romanos 8.6

Porque el ocuparse de la carne es muerte, pero el ocuparse del Espíritu es vida y paz.

Reign in Life

“Taking your place on the throne at the right hand of God”

Everyone has heard of the goodness and abundance of God, but few experience it in the bump and grind of everyday life. They are aware of some of the many promises in the Bible that speak of the overcoming life and most believe God has the power to do it, yet somehow the reality of it seems to evade them as they daily confront a seemingly endless myriad of problems and troublesome circumstances that shroud their lives in a slaty grayish cloud.

Reigning in Life

God never intended for man to live out his days a victim of circumstance. To this end, He sent Jesus to raise mankind out of weakness, empowering him to reign in life. ~ “Those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ” (Rom. 5.17).

Lost Treasure

Most Christians know deep down this is true and possible. They just lack instruction on what the Bible says about how to get it done because the modern Church has fallen grossly distant from the Bible and the words of Christ on this subject. Though this simple, yet block-buster spiritual law is taught throughout scripture, no one taught more clearly on this subject than Jesus Christ Himself.

How it works

Jesus drew back the curtain and shined the spotlight on the key when He said that a good life or an evil life is entirely in man’s control and is a product of what he determines to permit to occupy his heart. ~ “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things” (Mat. 12.35). Whether it is a question of healing, finance, or any other need; whatever you decide to let occupy your spirit, this is what your future will be.

More than a Positive Mental Attitude

Positive thinking, or just imagining things are better, may easy your depression, but it will not break you free from Satan’s grip and stop the curse¹ of the law from operating in your life. Only the power that raised Christ from the dead can do that. ~ “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is…the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places” (Eph. 1.18-20).

In Christ

It is the failure to understand that God has dealt with us through Jesus Christ where most people get lost. Christ is the power key. It is nothing less than faith in Christ alone that kicks down the jail cell door where the devil has held you captive and raises you up seated on a throne in life reigning at the right hand of God. ~ “Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved, and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2.5-6).

Beyond the Grave

Most understand how God dealt with the sin of the entire human race through Christ by placing their sin upon Him in the death of the cross. They know Christ acted as their substitute, and it is powerful enough to remove their sins forever; however, they have never been instructed beyond that point. Christ’s mission on your behalf did not end in the grave, where² he left your sins, having paid the price for them. God continued dealing with you through Christ ~ “When He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places far above all principality and power and might and dominion… and He put all things under His feet” (Eph. 1.20-22).

Raised with Christ

When God raised Christ from the dead, He made you a master in life more than capable of dominating every circumstance and all of the power of the enemy. The problem is you have never, or rarely ever, heard this. Jesus said the faith that moves mountains, which symbolize the enormous and weighty problems in your life, works like a seed. ~ “Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you” (Mat. 17.20). The seed of faith is planted in the heart by hearing and contemplating the word of God. ~ “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Rom. 10.17).

Taking Charge of Your Destiny

Today you have what you have permitted the enemy to sow into your heart yesterday. The more you persist contemplating the problem, the bigger the harvest of that problem becomes. The moment you begin to take control of what monopolizes your spirit, the enemy will flee and the gray clouds will disappear. The issue is most people are asleep at the wheel. They just leave the door open and allow the enemy to saturate the fertile soil of their spirit with the seeds of destruction, failure and torment.

While Men Slept

Jesus said ~ “but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way” (Mat. 13.25). Instead of moving to the solution, they think about the problem day and night from every possible angle; only augmenting fear, depression and spiritual weakness. Every king knows that his ability to reign rests solely upon his mastery of the art of war. ~ “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2Cor. 10.4-5).

El Poder de la Sangre

“La clave del poder en la hora final”

A medida que las líneas de batalla de Armagedón se dibujan en las noticias de la tarde ante nuestros ojos, los cristianos de todo el mundo están buscando la clave de la victoria en los últimos días sobre el Anticristo y la Bestia y están descubriendo que se encuentra únicamente en el poder de la sangre del Cordero. El Libro de Apocalipsis lo deja muy claro. ~ “Y ellos le han vencido por medio de la sangre del Cordero” (Apoc. 12.11). El Anticristo es llamado “el hombre de pecado” (2Tesalonicenses 2.3). Se dice que esta Iglesia vencedora de los últimos días “no tuviese mancha ni arruga ni cosa semejante” (Efesios 5.27). Nadie podrá estar en pie delante del Príncipe de las tinieblas hasta que han sido, como escribe el apóstol Juan, “lavados en la sangre del Cordero” (Apoc. 7.14) Pero, ¿qué significa esto y cómo se hace?

La Sangre del Cordero

El único perdón por el pecado es a través de la sangre de Jesús. Pero, ¿cómo se aplica la sangre del Cordero? Todo pecado, si no es perdonado por la sangre del cordero, es castigado por la maldición de Dios. La escritura afirma ~ “Porque todos los que dependen de las obras de la ley están bajo maldición, pues escrito está: Maldito todo aquel que no permaneciere en todas las cosas escritas en el libro de la ley, para hacerlas” (Gálatas 3.10). La sangre del Cordero de Dios fue derramada hace 2000 años para la remisión de los pecados, sin embargo, muchos de los hijos de Dios continúan sufriendo las consecuencias de la maldición porque no saben cómo aplicar la sangre de Jesús. Es la sangre, y solo la sangre, la que lava el pecado. No hay sustituto para la preciosa sangre de Cristo que limpia el pecado. ~ “(Porque la redención de su vida es de gran precio, Y no se logrará jamás), Ninguno de ellos podrá en manera alguna redimir al hermano, Ni dar a Dios su rescate Para que viva en adelante para siempre, Y nunca vea corrupción” (Salmos 49.7-9).

Los tesoros escondidos de la sabiduría

Algunos han presumido que el pecado es purgado por el arrepentimiento, otros haciendo buenas obras, y otros piensan que los pecados son eliminados por un sacerdote o algún otro clérigo. Sin embargo, la Biblia deja en claro que la sangre del Cordero solo puede ser aplicada por el mismo individuo que ha cometido los pecados. Consideremos las palabras del apóstol Juan. ~ “Éstos son los que han salido de la gran tribulación, y han lavado sus ropas, y las han emblanquecido en la sangre del Cordero” (Apocalipsis 7.14). La pregunta sigue siendo cómo se puede lavar el pecado con la sangre si no se sabe dónde está la sangre y cómo se puede emplear. Gracias a Dios, el Espíritu nos es dado para guiarnos a toda la verdad y revelar todo el conocimiento oculto. La revelación de la verdad oculta de Dios trae unidad, riqueza y sabiduría. ~ “Para que sean consolados sus corazones, unidos en amor, hasta alcanzar todas las riquezas de pleno entendimiento, a fin de conocer el misterio de Dios el Padre, y de Cristo, en quien están escondidos todos los tesoros de la sabiduría y del conocimiento” (Colosenses 2.2-3).

Aplicar la sangre para quitar la maldición

La Escritura revela que la sangre derramada de Jesús se aplica en dos pasos lógicos, que deben ser entendidas y puestas en práctica por todos aquellos que disfrutarían de los beneficios. El primer paso es reconocer que el Nuevo Testamento está escrito ‘en la sangre de Jesús.’ Jesús dijo que el Nuevo Testamento, o la palabra de Dios, está “escrito” o constituido por la Sangre del Cordero. ~ “Y les dijo: Esto es mi sangre del nuevo pacto, que por muchos es derramada” (Marcos 14.24). Esto significa que la Palabra de Dios y la Sangre son una sustancia. El sacerdocio del Antiguo Testamento lo muestra claramente cuando Dios instituye el Antiguo Pacto, y Dios le ordena a Moisés que rocíe la sangre del sacrificio del cordero (Jesús) sobre el Libro de la Ley (Biblia) y luego sobre las cabezas de las personas. ~ “Porque habiendo anunciado Moisés todos los mandamientos de la ley a todo el pueblo, tomó la sangre de los becerros y de los machos cabríos, con agua, lana escarlata e hisopo, y roció el mismo libro y también a todo el pueblo, diciendo: Ésta es la sangre del pacto que Dios os ha mandado” (Hebreos 9.19-20).

Jesús lava a sus discípulos

Es hora de tomar en serio la palabra de Dios. Jesús establece cómo la sangre del Cordero se aplica y lava de todo pecado.Él estaba predicando a los Discípulos, y cuando su mensaje llegó a una conclusión, dijo estas palabras. Lo que demuestra que la sangre del Cordero está en la Palabra de Dios y se aplica al escuchar la predicación de la Palabra. ~ “Ya vosotros estáis limpios por la palabra que os he hablado” (Juan 15.3). Juan el Divino (Apóstol) estuvo presente ese día, y nota que escribe que tenéis que “andar en la luz2 [palabra]” para que limpie eficazmente su vida o todas las maldiciones traídas por el pecado. Manténgase libre de las maldiciones del pecado por la sangre del Cordero, lavándose diariamente en la palabra de Dios pasando tiempo en las escrituras.

Pero si andamos en luz [palabra], como él está en luz, tenemos comunión unos con otros, y la sangre de Jesucristo su Hijo nos limpia de todo pecado.

The Power of the Blood

“The key to power in the final hour”

As the battle lines of Armageddon are being drawn out on the evening news before our eyes, Christians all over the world are searching for the key to victory in the last days over the Antichrist and the Beast and they are finding that it lies solely in the power of the blood of the Lamb. The Book of Revelation makes it abundantly clear. ~ “And they overcame him [the Dragon-Antichrist] by the blood of the Lamb” (Rev. 12.11). The Antichrist is called “the man of sin” (2Thes. 2.3). This overcoming Church of the last days is said to be “not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing” (Eph. 5.27). No one will be able to stand before the Prince of Darkness until they have been, as the Apostle John writes, “washed in the blood of the Lamb” (Rev. 7.14). But, what does this mean and how is it done?

The Blood of the Lamb

The only forgiveness for sin is through the blood of Jesus. But, how is the blood of the Lamb applied? All sin, if not forgiven by the blood of the lamb, brings the punishment of the curse of God. Scripture affirms ~ “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed [is] everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them” (Galatians 3.10). The blood of the Lamb of God was shed 2000 years ago for the remission of sins, yet many of the children of God continue to suffer the consequences of the curse because they don’t know how to apply the blood of Jesus. It is the blood, and only the blood, that washes away sin. There is no substitute for the precious blood of Christ that cleanses away sin. ~ “For the redemption of their souls is costly, And it shall cease forever. None of them can by any means redeem his brother, Nor give to God a ransom for him. That he should continue to live eternally, And not see the Pit” (Psalm 49.7-9).

The Hidden Treasures of Wisdom

Some have presumed that sin is purged by repentance, others by doing good deeds, still others think sins are removed by a priest or some other cleric. However, the Bible makes it clear that the blood of the Lamb can only be applied by the same individual himself who has committed the sins. Let us consider the words of the Apostle John. ~ “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 7.14). The question remains, how one can wash away sin with the blood if it is not known where the blood is and nor how it can be employed. Thank God, the Spirit is given to us to lead us into all of the truth and to reveal all hidden knowledge. The Revelation of God’s hidden truth brings unity, riches, and wisdom. ~ “That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2.2-3).

Applying the Blood to Take Away Curse

Scripture reveals that the shed blood of Jesus is applied in two logical steps, which must be understood and put into practice by all of those who would enjoy the benefits. The first step is to recognize that the New Testament is written “in the blood of Jesus.” Jesus said that the New Testament, or the word of God, is ‘written,’ or constituted of the Blood of the Lamb. ~ “And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many” (Mark 14.24). This means that the Word of God and the Blood are one substance. The Old Testament priesthood portrays this when God institutes the Old Covenant, and Moses is instructed by God to sprinkle the blood of the sacrifice lamb (Jesus) on the Book of the Law (Bible) and then on the heads of the people. ~ “For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, [20] saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you” (Hebrews 9.19-20).

Jesus Washes His Disciples

It’s time to get serious about the word of God. Jesus establishes how the blood of the Lamb is applied and washes from all sin. He was preaching to the Disciples, and as His message came to a conclusion, He said these words, which demonstrate that the blood of the Lamb is in the Word of God and is applied by hearing the preaching of the Word and acting upon it. ~ “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you” (John 15.3). John the Divine (Apostle) was present that day, and note he writes that you have to “walk in the light² [word]” for it to effectually cleanse your life or all curses brought on by sin. Keep yourself free from the curses of sin by the blood of the Lamb, washing yourself daily in the word of God by spending time in the scripture.

But if we walk in the light [word] as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
