Most believers don’t think of their local government as the arm of the Antichrist, but that’s exactly the way scripture tells us it will go down. The antichrist is a politician. He is called ‘the beast’ in scripture, and his governmental administration is called the beast system. The mark of beast is an insignia or superscription of the regime. This tyrannical body quickly ascends to a place of global dominion, to the extent that it will eventually control even the smallest financial expenditure.
The Rise of Authoritarianism
With the dawn of each new day, we see this infernal autocracy emerging before our eyes. Who would have dreamed that by taking advantage of a synthetic crises a politically driven media would be the primal tool used in the implementation of one global governmental institution with the power to control whether churches can congregate, whether people can work, whether they can go to the store or even leave their home? Speaking of the Antichrist System of the last days, the Apostle wrote: ~ “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13.16,17).
A New Method of World Domination
Neither hyperinflation nor the Russian-Ukraine war are concrete evidence that antichrist has arrived; however, the disintegration of human rights and the augmentation of government control over the free citizens of the world could easily prepare the way for a one-world government that exercises police enforced control over every man, woman, and child on earth as is mentioned will occur shortly before the return of Christ. ~ “It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation” (Revelation 13.7). The world has never seen a single Governing body with absolute control over the entire globe, which is one of the unique characteristics of antichrist. The WHO (World Health Organization), for example, is now functioning in a very similar capacity to that which is described in the book of Revelation.
The Fall of Modern Civilization
Countries who have long been considers stalwart bastions of free and democratic rule, like Australia, Canada & Ireland have hastily morphed into a fatal mixture of socialism and fascism. Millions of the worlds’ most outstanding yet unsuspecting citizens from every corner of the globe have suffered the unconstitutional loss of such basic human rights as using public transportation, traveling out of state, entering public schools, or public places, or even grocery stores. Christians must be vigilant and resist the erosion of their constitutional rights of freedom of religion, freedom to congregate, and freedom of speech. These human rights have already been greatly infringed upon over the last ten years with the rise of alternative lifestyles, the green movement, and the government usurping control of the public education system. ~ “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24.9, Mark 13.13). However, Christians are not to fear the things that are coming upon the earth, as Jesus1 said.
Who will be Saved?
God promises special protection and provision through faith in his promises to those of His children who inhabit the earth at the end of the age. ~ “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But not a hair of your head shall be lost” (Luke 21.17,18). As is always the case with God, the key is true genuine faith in the promises of God by which the believer becomes partaker of the divine nature and the new2 creation created in the righteousness3 of God, as perfectly as is stated in the New Testament. The only righteous person, true believer, is he who has his faith developed, as is taught daily in our blogs and ministry publications, to the point that his life is genuinely sustained by faith, everything he does is done by faith. He literally lives by faith alone, putting no trust in the arm of the flesh and the transformations and characteristics of his life demonstrate the authenticity of his faith.
God’s End Time Escape Plan
Jesus plainly stated that only the family of faith will be saved from the outpouring of the wrath of God upon the final generation. He said ~ “I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18.8). The Apostle John in the book of Revelation, makes it clear that millions of believers in the last days will lose their faith and be rejected by God. ~ “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth” (Revelation 3.14,16). It is time to become part of the family of faith in the earth, those men and women who understand and live by faith and are not ashamed to take their place in communion with the family of faith in God’s house, leaving the luke-warm church in the last days that John prophesied about behind. It’s time to get serious about faith and the word of God.
Ephesians 6.16
Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
