There is only one refuge from the ominous storms that are now darkening the horizon, as the foreboding signs of the end of the age become ever more immanent. Jesus made it clear that those who would be saved and overcome the great plagues of the last days would be exclusively comprised of those who know how to live and walk in nothing less than great faith. It is no coincidence that victorious faith is also the hallmark of the righteous—only one thing can save in the darkest hour of human history while at the same time set apart the only true followers of Christ to be delivered from the apocalyptic events of the final 7 years of human history.
Most Christians in the West understand that God has cancelled all of the sins in the Bible except one. Hence, there is only one sin that can send a soul to hell, and that one sin is the sin of unbelief. Now it becomes clear why the Holy Spirit was only commissioned to convict of that one sin when God sent Him into the world, the sin of unbelief … because now in the New Testament God only requires one thing of His children—FAITH. Consider what John wrote ~ “And when He [the Holy Spirit] has come, He will convict the world of sin… of sin, because they do not believe” (John 16.8). Moreover, scripture goes even further to declare ~ “But he who doubts is condemned…for whatever [is] not from faith is sin” (Romans 14:23).
The good news is that anyone can develop great faith by simply understanding the faith blueprint that Christ laid out in His epic teaching on the Sower and the Seed, recorded in the gospel of Mark. The six simple-to-understand steps open the door to understand how to develop true Bible faith, as well as explain why so many have fallen short in their attempts to win the good fight of faith. Scripture makes it clear that the power of God is manifest in the life of the believer through faith. Only through faith, Jesus taught, are mountains cast into the sea and access granted to the miracle-working power of God.
The Master Himself
Most of God’s children struggle to believe because they have never been taught the biblical laws of faith as are outlined in scripture. The Apostle Paul said it was necessary1 for faith to be taught correctly. It is no accident that Jesus constantly accentuated faith in His ministry and taught more about it than anyone else in the Bible. It is also no small detail to understand the greatest doctrines in all of scripture, which the Master Himself voiced when he expounded to His disciples the ancient secrets of great faith.
At the End
More now than at any other time in history is faith in the life of the believer becoming the most critical and essential commodity on the face of the planet as the darkness of the last days begins to fall upon the earth. Christians from all quarters of the globe are desperately searching the word of God for answers, and faith has become the most sought-after substance on earth, just as Jesus said it would when He spoke of His return at the end of the age. Voicing this prophetic utterance to the final generation, Jesus said ~ “I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18.8).
The Great Teaching
Those who follow in the seven steps to great faith that the Master detailed in the parable that many Bible scholars believe to be the greatest of all parables — the Parable of the Sower and the Seed, which is recorded in all three of the synoptic Gospels; Matthew, Mark, and Luke — will overcome all and receive the crown of glory from hand of the Master before this generation passes.
Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place.
