Absolute Healing

Three million people miraculously healed in an instant. How something of this magnitude could be overlooked by God’s people is beyond comprehension. As entire nations scramble to find an escape from the wrath of God poured out on the last generation in the form of plagues of judgement, never before has there been a more crucial time for believers to understand and partake in God’s Healing Covenant. God’s healing plan for His people is still in operation today in the New Testament, and it is appropriated the same way it was in Old Testament times by participating in the sacred covenant festival, which is called Passover in the Old Testament and Communion or the Lord’s Supper in the New Testament.

A Massive Healing Banquet

The judgement by plagues was poured out on God’s enemies at the same time divine healing was ministered to His children. ~ “For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever” (Exodus 12.23-24). This eternal ordinance remains the cryptic key to God’s Healing Covenant even to today. The Bible goes on to say that the entire Hebrew nation was not only delivered from the plagues of wrath (the destroyer), every living soul in communion was miraculously healed. The book of Psalms declares ~ “He also brought them out with silver and gold, And there was none feeble [sick] among His tribes. Egypt was glad when they departed, For the fear of them had fallen upon them” (Psalm 105.37-38).

Immunity & Healing Together

The Bible states that 600,000 men, not counting women and children, marched out of Egypt the night of the first Passover. Most Biblical analysts concur that a modest estimate of the complete number, including children, women and the elderly would be around three million people. Not only did God heal them all, He also strengthened them to the point that out of three million people there was not even one person who was feeble among them. This is much more than mere healing would achieve. The Spanish Bible say that there was not ‘one sick’ [enfermo] among them. It simply stands to reason that anyone who is sick is weak and feeble. If five-hundred people were randomly selected from any neighborhood today to march out into a forty-year journey into the desert, it would be quickly found that at least 20% of them would be too feeble through sickness and age to even walk 2 miles, much less carry all of their belongings plus small children on their backs.

God Always Heals at Communion

The Bible goes on to affirm that, like communion in the New Testament, physical healing was a normal part of the Passover Feast in Old Testament times. Let’s have a look at what happened when the renowned King Hezekiah celebrated the Passover Feast in Jerusalem ~ “Then they slaughtered the Passover lambs on the fourteenth day of the second month. And the LORD…healed the people” (2Chronicals 30.15,20). Jesus instituted communion, the New Testament version of the Hebrew Passover, in the famous Last Supper the night He was betrayed. The book of 1Corinthians declares that the only reason Christians are sick today in the New Testament is because of a failure to celebrate the sacred Communion rite properly. ~ “Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep [dead]” (1Corinthians 11.20,30).

Healing is the Children’s Bread

God’s people are sick and feeble and subject to the plagues of judgement because they do not enter into communion (love) with the family of God. This is what Jesus referred to when He said that it was not right to give healing (the children’s bread) to those who refuse God’s healing covenant ~ “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw [it] to the little dogs. Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great [is] your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour” (Matthew 15.26,28). The ‘bread’ Jesus spoke of is the healing bread of the communion sacrament. God healed the Hebrew nation during the Passover meal the same way healing is instituted as part of the Last Supper in the New Testament. Begin today to participate in God’s Healing Covenant with you by properly taking your place at the Lord’s Table.

Exodus 23.25

So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water [communion]. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.

It was a life of luxury, fine food, costly attire, and pretty panoramas. Happy she was, but not satisfied… not even close. Something was eating away at her, deep down inside, a hollow forlornness that shadowed everything in grey. Something big, something important was missing from her life, but what, what was it?

His Name was Joe

As years passed, the hollowness slowly evolved into an intense craving in the murky depths of the dark regions of her soul. Until, one day it happened. It was a placid September afternoon when a certain man entered into her life. Spying him by chance through the lattice in the parlor, which lay adjacent to her bedroom next to the conservatory, he was removing something from the trunk of her husband’s car in the front driveway, immediately her heart fluttered, and she was impelled to run downstairs and gaze upon him. He was a close business associate of her husband, an appealing man. There was something about his pearl-grey eyes; the heart of every woman over twelve years old would follow him, like radar, as soon as he entered a room.  His name was Joe, which reminded her of the most exulted of the twelve patriarchs, the twelve sons of Jacob (Israel). ~ “Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance” (Genesis 39.6).

Out of Nowhere

This was crazy. What was happening to her! This sudden urgency out of nowhere was altogether crushing her, consuming her, absorbing the very breath out of her lungs. She sensed her body’s impulse to hold him intimately, a man she still hadn’t been formally introduced to, yet. A foreign, metallic tang seemed to impregnate her tongue. It was like every molecule in her metabolism was screaming out, like her soul was being conjoined to his in a starless mass as she served drinks to the two of them in the reception hall.              Where does desire like this come from? Who can understand the affections of the heart? It was more than beauty, more than physical attraction, more than something sexual. Her entire being yearned for him, Spirit, soul and body — just the thought of him would make her day, bring a smile to her face, and at times draw a faint tear to her eye. Strange it was somehow, though; at times she became so overwhelmed, so completely infatuated with him, it felt like she was being drawn into a different dimension, like another life was being superimposed upon hers.

Insatiable Longing

Desperate hours were spent in meticulous selection of clothing, her shoes, which earrings, what colors highlighted best the pale greenish brown hue of her delicate cloistered eyes. Speaking to him day-to-day of mondain things, her visage made wild and passionate confession to him, while her lips remained mute. Yes, she loved her husband. She was no child any more. Like any woman, she had loved a number of men throughout her life, but this was something beyond love, beyond infatuation… her entire consciousness craved him ceaselessly day and night. It was out of control, almost like a spiritual thing, like he had unconsciously taken possession of her mortal essence. It was absolute. There was no turning back. She had to have him. ~ “And it came to pass after these things that his master’s wife cast longing eyes on Joseph, and she said, “Lie with me. But he refused” (Genesis 39.7-8).

What Love Is

Who would have dreamed that in the bat of an eye that feverish churning love could morph into a stone-cold hatred even fiercer than the ravishing passion it replaced? Headlong, she accused him of rape, and by the year’s end, Joseph was serving out a three-year sentence of incarceration. ~ “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends” (1Corinthians 13.4-8, ESV).

The Pride of Life

What is it that drives us to such lengths, plunges us to such depths, and banishes the heart to such endless torment? Is it love? From where does this unquenchable passion come, from heaven or from hell? This was a man who’s hand she had never even touched yet, a man who hadn’t the faintest idea of what was going on inside of her. What had she done to him, why! ~ “According to the prince of the power of the air [Lucifer], the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience… in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do” (Ephesians 2.2,3; 1John 2.16; John 8.44).

Entertaining Spirits

From whence comes this madness, this insatiable burning thirst! Do humans really play out the depraved longings of bilious demons upon earth? Desire emerges from the spirit realm. Discern your desires, and you will accurately appraise your spiritual estate. ~ “I do not want you to have fellowship with demons” (1Corinthians 10.20). How does one control his desires? How does one not covet his neighbor’s wife? Can any man really do it? ― On his own, it cannot be done; however, by the inner working of the Spirit of God, yes indeed, it can and is done. ~ “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish” (Galatians 5.16,17). Which spirits will you entertain this evening?

Ex 20:17 The Last Commandment

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. (Story based on Genesis chapter 39)

Two thousand years ago the Apostle Paul warned about the danger of fake news. He said ~ “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ” (Galatians 1.6–7). Of course, there is no such thing as ‘another gospel.’ With a touch of sarcasm, the Apostle was stating how the whole church had been deceived by a fake gospel, a man-made falsification of the true Gospel message, which had plunged the entire congregation into apostacy from God. The word ‘gospel’ in the Bible comes from the Greek word “euangelion” and means ‘good news.’ The problem of fake news is nothing new. It has been around plaguing the Church for the last 2000 years.

The Age of the False News Gospel

As the end of the age spins ever closer with the dawning of each new day, the Bible says there will appear a myriad of preachers peddling a fake news gospel, which is void of God and the power of the true Gospel message of Jesus Christ. ~ “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, [because] they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn [their] ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables” (2Timothy 4.3,4). The gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven has been falsified by the enemy because the devil knows that it is the precise and unadulterated knowledge of the truth that sets people free1 from the dominion of the kingdom of darkness. The Apostle Paul wrote ~ “The gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Romans 1.16). As the millennium draws to a close, more than ever before Christians must be aware of the enemy’s desperate attempts to falsify the true message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How to Identify the True Gospel

The devil is a master of deception, but even He cannot fool those who are guided by the Spirit. ~ “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand” (Mark 13.22,23). The first sign of a false gospel is that it is directed at the head, not at the heart (spirit). Anyone who has ever read anything from the Bible notices immediately that the words, though sometimes difficult to understand and not rhetorically fashionable, have a direct and unquestionable impact on the spirit of the individual, and begin at once to undertake profound spiritual transformation of his life. God does all things through His word, even the new (spiritual) birth is a product of nothing more than hearing and receiving the word by faith. The Bible says, we are ~ “Born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever” (1Peter 1.23).

The Fake Gospel is Void of Power

The false gospel, on the other hand, is all intellectual and carefully aimed at the mind, not the heart. It is devoid of any transforming spiritual power and relies completely on personal performance tactics, like self-help or personal improvement because it is a human product of men, not a spiritual product of God. Next, the fake gospel always conducts its followers further into Satan’s kingdom, instead of liberating from it, by promising health, prosperity, and happiness regardless of sin and one’s affection to the ‘world.’ The Bible calls Satan’s earthly kingdom ‘the world’ system, which at this moment rules over those are unwittingly taken into bondage by demons. ~ “According to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air [Lucifer], the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others” (Ephesians 2.2,3).

Grace or Grease?

The Gospel of Jesus Christ, conversely, will transport the hearer out of the power of darkness and into the Kingdom of God. ~ “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed [us] into the kingdom of the Son of His love” (Colossians 1.13). In the fake gospel, there is no need for change, repentance, or to stop sinning. It erroneously pretends that all sin is automatically forgiven by grace, which is absolutely untrue. Is it grace or grease? The Bible tells how false preachers deceptively turn the gospel of true grace into a greasy false gospel of perversion, and lewdness. ~ “For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ” (Jude 1.4). The true place of grace in the Bible is not providing a license to sin; it is the power of God stop sin. The Apostle Paul wrote ~ “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?” (Romans 6.2,3). Jesus directly charged sinners to stop sinning, not continue in it. ~ “And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more” (John 8.11).

The Choice is Yours

In the final analysis, it is really quite simple. Is your gospel experience leading you further into the kingdom of God or into the kingdom of darkness? ~ “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God” (James 4.4). Is it making you an enemy of the world and friend of God, or making you a friend of the world and an enemy of God?

Joshua 24.15

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Following closely on the heels of Cov19, Monkeypox is now making worldwide headlines as the new viral threat. The Bible makes it clear that the last days will be characterized by a wide range and prolific number of plagues. ~ “Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete” (Revelation 15.1).

God Desires Healing

God desires healing as much as He desires His children to live free from sin because the cause of sickness is sin. More and more each day people all over the world are recognizing their need for divine healing and protection. During His earthly ministry, Jesus’ signature miracle was healing. Considering the wide array of diverse needs represented by the people who clamored out to Jesus for help, the Bible states that physical healing was the most common miracle Jesus performed. Often, He would heal thousands of people in one day. Sometimes even entire cities were healed of the suffering of agonizing diseases and disabilities. ~ “At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon–possessed. And the whole city was gathered together at the door. Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases” (Mark 1.32-34).

God’s Healing Covenant

He did this to demonstrate how God’s will is healing for His people as well as to show God’s disposition to heal by His divine power.  At the end of the day, modern medicine with all of its scientific advances is still woefully limited. Only God can heal you and keep you healed. The Bible reveals that there are three different major ways that God works physical healing: 1) miracles [signs], 2) faith, 3) God’s Healing Covenant. Most people immediately think of miracles and signs when divine healing comes to mind. Others are vaguely familiar with healing by faith; however, the first and foremost way God heals is through His Healing Covenant. In short, God promises to heal all of His children who walk according to His word through the leading of the Holy Spirit.

The Root Cause of all Sickness

The Old Testament said it this way… ~ “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you” (Exodus 23.25). This Old Testament promise of divine healing in the book of Exodus is still valid for believers in the New Testament today. Remember what is written in the book of 2nd Corinthians. ~ “For all the promises of God in Him [Jesus] are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us” (2Corinthians 1.20). When it says “All of the promises of God,” it means all of God’s promises in both Testaments, the Old and the New. In the New Testament, Jesus reveals the root cause of all sickness. ~ “For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them” (Matthew 13.15).

Three Steps of Healing

Notice that here Jesus lays out the formula of God’s healing covenant, which is — surrender one’s life to God, grow up in the Spirit, and walk in His will — and God will heal the believer and keep him healed. Observe how Jesus outlines the steps to divine healing in Matthew 13 (above). He said: 1) hear God’s word, 2) understand it with the heart, and 3) be converted, which means to change what you’ve been doing and begin to do what God’s word says. When the child of God completes these three simple steps, Jesus says that God “should” heal him… or it is God’s fair and just part to heal such persons. Of course, God always does His part once we have done ours. People say, ‘but it couldn’t be so simple and logical,’ — yet, of course it is. Don’t let Monkeypox make a monkey out of you. God has promised healing to all who come to Him in simple and walk in His word, according to the ability Holy Spirit working in them.

Exodus 15.26 “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I [am] the LORD who heals you.”

Everything comes back to the two trees in the Garden of Eden. The entire Bible and all of the works of God transport us back to Eden and enable each one of us to choose for ourselves what Adam and Eve rejected — to partake of the Tree of Life or of the Tree of Death. ~ “The tree of life [was] also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” (Genesis 2.9). Sin had already contaminated heaven when Lucifer committed the original sin and one third of the angels with him. In order to deal with the sin problem, it was necessary for each person to reject sin and overcome its temptations. Thus, the Tree of the knowledge of death was placed in Eden. ~ “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12.9).

The Key

The two trees correspond to God and Satan. The question of sin must be eternally laid to rest, which requires every man to decide to which of the two trees he corresponds, to the tree of eternal life or to the tree of eternal death. Far too much time is spent focusing on the tree of death and ignoring the Tree of Life, which is by far the most important. It is the Tree of Life that opens the door back to God, eternal life, and all of the blessings of heaven. The power of death is the ‘knowledge of evil,’ and the power of eternal life is the knowledge of love (God), which ~ “has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, [who] has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men” (2Timothy 1.10, John 1.4). The key that opens the door back into the garden paradise is the reality of ‘oneness’ of God. The power and brilliance of God rests in the unity of the divine godhead, the all-glorious three in one God.

Oneness with God

The Tree of Life brings man into eternal life, which is unity with God. Jesus is the ‘True Vine,’ the Tree of Life, by which we are made ‘one’ with the Trinity, the Holy Angels, the glorified saints, and the rest of creation. By Jesus, the anointed (living) word, we enter into and abide IN the divine Trinity, the True Tree of Life. Christ said ~ “I am the true vine. Abide in Me, and I in you. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you” (John 15.1,4,7). The key to understanding God and the entire Bible is the single nature of God, the divine Trinity. 183 times in the New Testament, the term ‘in Christ’ or ‘in Him’ or ‘in His body (etc.) appear in the New Testament. All of these terms refer to man’s reconciliation into complete oneness with the Father and the Son through the Holy Spirit, who gives life to our human spirit, making us one spirit with God again. ~ “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him” (1Corinthians 6.17). We become ‘born’ of God, partakers of His divine nature. ~ “through the knowledge of Him…may be partakers of the divine nature” (2Peter 1.3-4).

Hearing the Anointed Word

So, how does the believer enter and abide in this blessed state of oneness (unity) with God? Jesus gives us the answer to that question. He reveals that it is by the anointed Word of God that one returns to Eden and partakes of the tree of life. Jesus is the way. Jesus said ~ “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14.6). His name is the ‘Christ’ (Greek), which means ‘anointed’ by the Spirit of God. Jesus is the Anointed Word,1 which is the Way and the Truth that lead to the hidden Tree of eternal Life in the Garden. Notice, He said ~ “The Spirit of the LORD [is] upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel (Luke 4.18). Every day, the Jewish priests preached from the same text that Jesus did. They preached what the Bible calls the ‘dead letter’ of the word of God at the same time that Jesus was preaching the anointed, life-giving, word of God. Those who listened to the word preached without the anointing died spiritually, a little more each day, while those who listened to preaching of the anointed word by Jesus were healed and received eternal life.

Choose the Tree of Life

The Bible says the signature of God upon His ministers is the anointed word ~ “For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure” (John 3.34). The Tree of Life in Eden is the Tree of the Spirit of Life, the Anointed Word, the True Vine.2 The Apostle Peter in the book of Acts demonstrates how through the anointed word the child of God becomes ‘One’ with the Spirit and partakes of the Tree of Life in this present age. Notice how the life-giving Spirit of God is ministered through the anointed word of God as it is preached. ~ “And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning” (Acts 11.15). Don’t let spiritual death through the sin of Adam rule your life for one more minute. Begin now to partake to the Tree of Life, Jesus Christ, by giving yourself daily to the anointed Word.

1John 3.24

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Life proceeds from the heart. The thoughts one chooses to permit to occupy the heart determine what that individual will become. The Bible says ~ “For as he thinks in his heart, so [is] he” (Proverbs 27.3). What you are today is the sum of what you chose to think about yesterday. The biggest lie of the devil is convincing people that they are a victim of circumstance when in reality they are victims of their own thoughts. Jesus said you will become what you think about. ~ “So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding? FOR OUT OF THE HEART PROCEED EVIL THOUGHTS, murders, adulteries…” (Matthew 15.16,19). The good news is that you do not have to continue meditating on the lies of the devil for the rest of your life. The Apostle Paul wrote, ~ “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Romans 1.16).

You Decide

You can choose to think God’s thoughts, and they will produce faith in your heart, which is the power of God working victory in every area of your life. ~ “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things” (Matthew 12.35). He said the only difference between a good life and a bad life are the thoughts the person has chosen to permit to occupy the spiritual soil of his heart. You become what you think about. This is what Jesus meant when he said the good man ‘BRINGS FORTH good things.’ The truth is the devil does not decide. You decide what you are going to bring out of your heart tomorrow. Your heart is the production center of your life. It will produce whatever you decide to put into it. The devil likes to tell people that he has the power to make their lives good or bad, but the devil1 is a liar.

The Product of your Life

He knows that God has placed the control of your life into your own hands. This is what Jesus meant when he said, ~ “The kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17.20). The power of the kingdom of heaven and the power of the kingdom of darkness are in your heart. God has given this power to you; now it is your decision what you will plant and what you will harvest. Jesus said, ~ “And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground” (Mark 4.26). The reborn human spirit is very powerful. By sowing the word (seed) of God into it, the heart of man will produce faith which will bring those words to pass in your life ~ “nothing will be impossible for you” (Mateo 17.20). What you decide to put into your heart in ‘abundance’ is what your spirit will eventually produce, and this will be the product of your life… what you ‘BRING FORTH’ from your heart. Jesus said, ~ “For out of the abundance of the heart… a good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things” (Matthew 12.34-35).

Begin to Reign in Life

Your life is a product of the thoughts you put into your heart. It is for this reason the Bible teaches that man is to guard his heart above all things. ~ “Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it [spring] the issues of life” (Proverbs 4.23). The devil only has the power that you choose to give to him. The sum of his power in your life is determined by how many lies you permit him to sow into your heart. For this reason, the word says that you are to ‘guard2 your heart above all things.’ Jesus demonstrated how Satan gains access to people’s lives by sowing thoughts of sin, sickness and death into their hearts when they are not on guard. ~ “He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this’ (Matthew 13.28). You will never reign in life until you begin to reign over your own mind. Take control of your life and close the door to the enemy by doing what the Bible says. Begin today to bring every thought into the obedience of Jesus, the Word3 of God.

Jesus taught a new kind of faith, a faith that is strong enough to move mountains yet is as simple as a seed is to understand and to operate. He called it ‘Seed Faith,’ and throughout the New Testament He demonstrated how this new kind of faith could raise the dead, feed the hungry and heal sick. To understand what the ‘seed’ is, one need look no further than to the Master himself. Jesus repeatedly taught that the mystery of the Kingdom of God is the ‘seed of the word’ of God. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus says ~ “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God… Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God” (Luke 8.10,11). The mystery, or the thing that people didn’t understand, is that the word of God is spiritual seed and is capable of growing up in the heart and producing the faith necessary to receive all of the promises of God.

Guaranteed in Blood

People have tried to have faith on their own, without understanding how to use the word of God like a seed to produce the ‘seed faith’ Jesus taught. We must now take a look at the New Testament as a legal document. It is a Covenant or a contract that Jesus has established between God and His children, a sworn attestation defining every aspect of God’s relationship with His children. This legal document is a binding deposition that is guaranteed by the blood of Jesus Christ and the very thrown of God itself. The New Covenant is the last Will and Testament of the Lord of lords and King of kings. In this sworn affidavit, God has delineated how His possessions are to be managed after His decease. He has decreed that the supply for every need of His children has been preauthorized1 and itemized in one or more of the promises.

God’s Delivery System

The only condition is that the promise must be received2 by faith. The Apostle Peter ratifies this truth stating ~ ”As His divine power has given to us all things that [pertain] to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption [that is] in the world through lust.” (2Peter 1.3,4). God’s method of administering his property is as practical as it is sagacious. Through His written word, He governs exactly what is given and who is capable of receiving it. Everyone knows that faith comes by the word of God. In the book of Romans, we read ~ “So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10.17).

The Source of Divine Origin

So, let’s summarize; we see that 1) faith comes by the word of God (Romans 10.17), 2) the seed is the word of God (Lukas 10.11), and 3) everything is given through the promises/words of God (2Pedro 1.4). Now, it becomes obvious that when Jesus said to have ‘faith as seed,’ He was talking about how the seed of the word of God would produce the faith that does not doubt when it is planted and cultivated in the heart of the believer. We see, then, how the same promise [word] contains the faith within to reproduce itself in the life of the believer, just like a natural seed has the life within itself to reproduce itself when it is planted and properly cared for. Similar to a seed, the word of God contains the faith within itself necessary to produce whatever that particular promise says. In the same way, the life within a natural seed has the energy to produce whatever the particular genetics in that seed indicate.

Luke 8.10,11

And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest [it is given] in parables, that ‘Seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’ “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.”

What do demons have to do with food? –everything! God uses natural food in the Bible to depict spiritual food, and the type of food countless millions consume each day is opening the door for the enemy just as it did to the children of Israel when they got tired of hearing the pure word of God ~ “Our soul loathes this worthless bread. So the LORD sent fiery serpents [demons] among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died” (Numbers 21.5,6). Why were these demons permitted to attack the people of God? …because they had grown tired of eating the pure doctrine of the bread of life, the supernatural manna that God appointed and faithfully given them. They turned away form the word to foolish human babble, just like what is happening today. They said, ~ “Our soul loathes this worthless bread [manna].”

Spiritual Food

As is repeatedly portrayed, the food you choose to eat will either bring demons, sickness, and death; or Jesus, healing, and eternal life. Jesus Himself said ~”He who has My commandments [word] and keeps them, it is he…I will love him and manifest [come] Myself to him” (John 14.21). Jesus pointedly taught that the voluminous Old Testament laws of clean and unclean food represent true and false doctrine, or healthy and unhealthy teaching and preaching. Let’s have a look at what He said ~ “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees” (Matthew 16.6,12). Here again, it is evident that food (leaven) represents “the doctrine of the Pharisees.” Jesus calls Himself, His doctrine, “the bread2 of life” because He is the Word3 of God (doctrine).

A Deadly Diet

One can never comprehend the Bible or know who Jesus is until he understands that Jesus Christ is the word of God as is plainly stated4 in Scripture. ~ “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [14] And the Word was made flesh [Jesus], and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1.1,14). Jesus himself is symbolized by Bread, or by manna, and his blood, as we will see shortly, symbolizes¹ the New Testament. ~ “I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world” (John 6.48,49,51). Much of the darkness pervading our cities is due to Christians how have grown tired of hearing sound doctrine and have turned aside5 from sound doctrine to fables and psychology and purely human reasoning, having rejected the “love of the truth,” as is prophesied to foreshadow the end of the age.

The Antichrist will act

~ “With all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved” (2Thessalonians 2.10). As we press further into the last days and draw closer to the end of the age, demon serpents bearing a perilous sting worse than death will once again be unleashed upon the face of the earth, just as they were thousands of years ago in the days of Moses, but this time they will take on the form of grasshoppers from hell. ~ “And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months” (Revelation 9.2,3,10).

The Wine of His Blood

In like fashion to the days of Moses, the only way to escape their hellish sting will be food. This time it will be wine instead of bread, which completes the biblical symbol of Communion/Passover, bread and wine, which are the elements of communion. Those Christians inhabiting the Earth at the time of the end overcome the Antichrist and all his hordes of demons by the wine [food] of the blood of the Lamb, which means by the eating of the spiritual food of the doctrine of the New Testament. ~ “And they [Christians] overcame him [Antichrist] by the blood of the Lamb [spiritual food]” (Revelation 12.11). New Testament Christians at the end of the age, like Moses and the children of Israel, overcome the fiery sting of the demonic scorpion-like locusts by the quality of food they choose to feast on each Sunday, that is the spiritual food, by drinking deeply of the pure wine of the unadulterated doctrine of the New Testament.

1Corinthians 11.25

In the same manner [He] also [took] the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink [it], in remembrance of Me.”

You are the Fullness of God —
It is as true as it is astounding. Yet, it cannot be denied, though for most it remains incomprehensible. Some, due to the blindness of the flesh might even think it blasphemy, but it is the integrity of the eternal word of God. As it is written ~ “Which He worked in Christ when… put all [things] under His feet, and gave Him [to be] head over all [things] to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all” (Ephesians 1.20-23). The truth is, as it is with the rest of scripture, this would be almost impossible to understand without Christ revealing Himself, who is the Word of God. And this is the first principle to divine revelation — Christ must be known as He truly is — He alone is the ‘Word of God.’ ~ “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one” (1John 5.7).

The Mystery of the Kingdom

This is the place of the Messiah in the Holy Trinity. He is the Word of God, and it is He alone who can manifest Himself, revealing all of the treasures and mysteries hidden in the word of God, which were placed there for the children of God and hidden from the devil and his children. ~ “The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1.26-27). The words of Jesus himself must never be taken lightly, forgotten or misinterpreted. He said to those who He has chosen and called to know Him (the Word)… ~ “And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that ‘Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand; Lest they should turn, And their sins be forgiven them” (Mark 4.11-12).

One with Christ

Over 183 times, the expression ‘in God’ appears in the New Testament. There are various forms of this expression, depending on its grammatical conjugation, which all have the same meaning, forms like: ‘in God, in Christ, in Him, in whom, by whom, by him, etc….’ As soon as one understands the meaning of this fundamental concept, which is continually repeated in the New Testament, he is able to grasp the meaning of how the church and each member of it are, in fact, the’ fulness of God.’ Let’s begin by remembering the great prayer of the Lamb on the night He was betrayed. ~ “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me” (John 17.20-21).

Holy Communion with God

And in this, we see what is the great and only sin — the sin of not abiding ‘in God’ because it is from this one sin alone that all other sins proceed from. Consider the mother of all sins as it is written in the book of Genesis ~ “And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” (Genesis 2.9). God commanded mankind (Adam) to not partake from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, to only eat of the tree of the Spirit (life). It is not a question of ‘good’ or evil, it is only a question of abiding ‘in God.’ And here the true majesty and genius of God is manifest. Everything that is not done in unity, or ‘in’ God, is sin. It is the divine unity of the Trinity that divides heaven from hell and good from evil. The great sin of Satan, the mother of all sin, is to reject the love (spiritual unity) of God and, thus, be cast out of the holy communion, which is the ‘eternal life’ of the divine Trinity.

As the Tree of Life (Spirit) so clearly teaches, just as the ‘fulness’ of a granary is the grain ‘therein,’ so only those who abide ‘in God’ are the ‘fulness’ of God, without sin and in possession of eternal life. As you press the cup of the communion of His blood to your lips this Sunday, remember, the full weight of His glory, the complete volume of His power together with all of the eternal attributes of the divine godhead dwell within you ꟷ whom shall you fear?

Ephesians 4.13

Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

The love of God will bring you into a life of privilege and blessing far beyond your wildest dreams. Though much is said and written about it, few there are who actually live the love life. Love will catapult you into the upper echelon of God’s power and grace. ~ “But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection” (Colossians 3:14). Love will heal your body from sickness, because love is the fulfilment of all of the Law and the Prophets and the new Testament. “Love is the fulfillment of the law” (Romans.13.10), and sin is the cause of all sickness and disease ~ “Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, ‘See, you have been made well. SIN NO MORE, LEST A WORSE THING COME UPON YOU’” (John .5.14). As we have already seen, love is the fulfilment of all of the Word of God, and the Bible says, God “…sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions, and “Give attention to my words… for they are life to those who find them, and HEALTH TO ALL THEIR FLESH” (Psalm 107.29, Proverbs 4.20,22).

The Word of His Power

Few people understand the magnitude of actually living a life of agape-love. Love is the main theme of the entire Bible, and it has been marginalized by people who think they know more than God, when in reality they haven’t even read their Bible. This shows how hateful the human race has become. God gave us His Word, the Bible, so that everyone could learn how to live the love life, but as Jesus said to the spiritually deaf Pharisees, so it is also true today. ~ “Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God” (Matthew 22.29). Those who do not take the time to learn the Word of God will always be in ‘error’ and will never know the ‘power of God,’ for the power of God is in His Word. ~ “[God] upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high” (Hebrews 1.3).

A Life of Divine Blessing

God’s Word is power and God’s Word is 100% love. Understanding and dedicating your life to learn and live the Life of Love will endow your life with the sheer energy of God like nothing else will. The man or woman who walks and lives in love, is a High Priest who completely obeys and executes all of God’s will at all times. Obviously, this will bring every blessing in both the Old Testament and the New Testament upon your life. ~ “For all the promises of God in him [in Christ] are yes, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God” (2Corintios.1:20, Deuteronomy 28.2). The moment you start walking in love, the blessings of God will begin to overtake your life. Agape love is the complete fulfilment of every law and requirement in the entire Bible, both Old and New Testaments together. So love will bring every blessing promised to those who obey the Law of Moses and the ‘Royal Law of Love’ (James 2.8).

Untouchable

Love will make you a complete master over every situation and circumstance in this life and in the life to come. Love will give you sovereign authority over all the power of the enemy. Jesus was love incarnate; accordingly He said. ~ “I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world (Satan) is coming, and HE HAS NOTHING IN ME” (John14.30). Love is the Master Key to everything in the Kingdom and under the Kingdom. If you walk in love, the devil will ‘have nothing in you,’ which means the devil will have no entrance into your life; body, soul and spirit; he will be completely subject to you, because love always ‘binds the strong man’ [demons spirits].  ~ “Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house” (Matthew 12.29). The only way Satan can gain power over you is by deceiving you into stepping out of the love life. As long as you walk in the spirit of agape-love, as Jesus said, Satan will ‘have nothing in you.’ He will have no sin to gain advantage over you; thus, he must bow his knee to the mighty Name that is above every name, ‘The Lord Jesus Christ’ as you speak it out in faith.

1John 4:12-13

If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us.
